I was visiting Mom and my sister last week. When I went to grab Mom’s prescriptions in Centreville MD, I found the track downtown which was clearly long abandoned. Then, like a ghost in the distance, came the moan of a train horn. After some dashing around and trying to find track access, there she was through the drizzle, a 1950 Alco RS3M pulling a few cars north. These shots are from March 18, 2021.
