I dropped by Ahoskie twice last week and found that they were painting a locomotive. GP38-2 503 is finally getting North Carolina & Virginia Railroad’s current livery.  Photos show the early sanding and primering of 503. They were planning on adding one color per day. There is a photo of 503 in her old navy blue with the current paint scheme on a loco in the background. There are also pictures of sister GP 38-2 504 still in older colors. There are a couple of yard shots included. Week 12 was March 21-27.
