On the map, Frisco, northwest of Kingsport TN, is one of the more fascinating rail interchanges I’ve seen. It serves both CSX and Norfolk Southern. That’s why I went to take a look for myself. It’s a tiny spot in the middle of nowhere that has more wyes, crossovers, and switches I’ve seen. In person, it may make even less sense that it does on maps. Week 30 was July 25-31, 2021.
