A few years back, Norfolk Southern started updating EMD SD70 locomotive with new cabs and electronics as will as switching them from DC to AC power. The first few out of the shop got special paint jobs to show off the program. 1800 was the first out onto the roads. It visited us downiest in August. These shots are from New Bern and Beaufort County NC. Shot early August 2021.
