Trains - week 41

Norfolk Southern has been doing yard maintenance and repair in Chocowinity. About 12 years ago, there were (I think) nine old steel locomotives parked along Capital Boulevard in Raleigh. Oddly, they mostly ended up down here in the eastern part of the state. I know where most of them are now.  In this gallery are two of them which sat at a local scrap yard for quite a while before recently making their debut in their new role as signs! Week 41 was October 10-16, 2021.
