Yellow-rumped warblers are probably our most common winter warbler. Their old name is myrtle warbler, and my favorite nickname for them is butter-butt. They are usually pretty drab looking unless you catch them riled up or getting cleaned up. I caught these guys at Pungo Lake December 10, 2021.
