Southern northbound            -flashback-

In 1982, Southern Railway had merged with Norfolk & Western to become Norfolk Southern. But in 1988, they were still running plenty of things in their old livery. They are seen here leaving the Pamlico River Trestle and approaching Jacks Creek in Washington NC. I shot this in November 1988.
